dirtyconverse DISCO setlist

A great night at dirtyconverse DISCO last night! It was nice DJing downstairs at King’s Cross Social Club who are putting on some other top club nights and gigs now. Also brilliant to play some elegiac pop that we usually wouldn’t at Scared To Dance amongst some New York new wave and indie pop. Here’s what I played:

Orange Juice – I Can’t Help Myself
Pocketbooks – Footsteps
Tender Trap – Do You Want A Boyfriend?
The Go-Betweens – Spring Rain
Morrissey – The Last of the Famous International Playboys
The Primitives – Spacehead
Black Tambourine – Throw Aggi Off the Bridge
Felt – Penelope Tree
David Bowie – Modern Love
The Drums – Let’s Go Surfing
The Jesus and Mary Chain – Happy When It Rains
Pulp – Lipgloss
Allo Darlin’ – If Loneliness Was Art
Belle and Sebastian – She’s Losing It
Jens Lekman – You Are the Light (By Which I Travel Into This and That)
The Beach Boys – Wouldn’t It Be Nice
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart – Young Adult Friction
Buzzcocks – Promises
The Concretes – You Can’t Hurry Love
Blondie – Dreaming
Talking Heads – Once in a Lifetime
Depeche Mode – Just Can’t Get Enough
The Style Council – Shout to the Top!
Slow Club – Giving Up on Love
Suburban Kids With Biblical Names – Seems To Be on My Mind
