Scared To Dance at NYC Popfest

I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be taking Scared To Dance to NYC Popfest next month! We’ll be on the first night of the Popfest at the Cake Shop on Thursday 19th May.

The club night will kick off after the bands and finish at 4am. If you have any requests please drop me an email, I’d love to hear them! There’s also a Facebook event with all of the bands timings on it.

You can buy your tickets for the Popfest now through the official website. Be quick before they sell out. See you on the dancefloor!

DJing at the Hangover Lounge

I’ll be returning to DJ at the Hangover Lounge on Sunday. I was fortunate to be asked last year and had a great time spinning a few slower tracks to wile away the Sunday afternoon.

They’ve recently released their second EP featuring the likes of Darren Hayman, David Tattersall & Howard Hughes and White Town. Be sure to bring enough money to get your hands on a copy before they all sell out.

For those of you who haven’t been before, it takes place downstairs at The Lexington between 2pm and 7pm. Hopefully see you there!

We’re excited to welcome Elizabeth Morris from Allo Darlin’ for her annual DJ set at the club on Saturday 30th April!

Elizabeth played a wonderful set last year consisting of Paul Simon, The Beach Boys, Talking Heads, Still Flyin’, R.E.M., Kirsty MacColl and Pulp which you can listen back to on Spotify.

There’s a Facebook event where you can post your song requests. We’ll be open from 9pm to 2am at King’s Cross Social Club playing our mix of indiepop, post-punk and new wave music until 2am!

Entry is free entry before 10pm and then £3 for members and £5 for non-members.
