Scared To Dance goes to Glasgow, Camera Obscura to guest DJ at the club

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be taking Scared To Dance to Glasgow next month! It’s been a dream of mine to take the club to the city for many years so I’m delighted we’ve finally got the opportunity. We’ve got one of our favourite all time bands DJing. Tracyanne Campell from Camera Obscura will be spinning tracks on the night!

It’s happening at Stereo on Friday 24th February from 10:30pm to 3am. The city is the home of so many classic indiepop bands. Belle and Sebastian, Orange Juice, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Vaselines, Butcher Boy, The Pastels, Lloyd Cole and the Commotions so expect to hear them on the night alongside the usual raucous post-punk and stylish new wave.

If you’re in Glasgow and you’re coming to the night, could you please invite your friends onĀ Facebook. We want to make this a huge night so your help is needed!

Please note that there will be no Scared To Dance in London in late February due to London Popfest. We’ll be returning on Saturday 10th March.
