Scared To Dance is back at King’s Cross Social Club on Saturday 30th June and it’s our Indietracks Special!

Doors open at 9pm and our guest DJs be on from 10:30pm playing many of the bands playing this year’s festival which is just two weekends away.

This will be our fourth annual Indietracks Special and they’re brilliant fun to do in the run up to the festival. You can expect plenty from the likes of The Vaselines, Allo Darlin’, The June Brides, Summer Camp, Veronica Falls, Darren Hayman, Ballboy and Standard Fare!

It won’t be all Indietracks music on Saturday, so if you like the post-punk and new wave stuff we play that’ll still be there for you to hit the dancefloor to. We’ll be projecting Radio On which has a brilliant soundtrack including Berlin-era Bowie, Kraftwerk, Devo, Ian Dury.

What would you like to hear? You can post your requests on the Facebook event.

The June edition of our free monthly podcasts is now available to stream on Mixcloud.

Ahead of our Indietracks Special at King’s Cross Social Club on Saturday 30th June, when we’ll be welcoming DJs from team Indietracks, we’ve put together this extended mix previewing 30 of the bands who will be playing at the festival.

We’ve had the pleasure of DJing at Indietracks in the past two years and we’ll be back this year. We’ll be taking Scared To Dance to the campsite disco on the Saturday night of the festival.

Indietracks takes place between 6th and 8th July in Derbyshire. Veronica Falls, Allo Darlin’, The Vaselines, Summer Camp, Darren Hayman, The Monochrome Set and Stevie Jackson are amongst those performing.
