Another month, another 20 tracks of new music on our February podcast.
We begin with two of our favourite songs of the year so far, The Decemberists sublime “Make You Better” and Tigercats “Sleeping in the Backseat”.
The Tuts are back with their brilliant new single “Do I Have to Look for Love?” and there’s the excellent Colleen Green with “Pay Attention” from her first studio album which is out on Hardly Art records next week.
Joanna Gruesome come roaring back with “Last Year” and there’s the return of post-punk legends Wire and Gang of Four. There’s the latest from The Cathode Ray and H. Hawkline plus an exclusive track from the upcoming Comet Gain EP.

Noisey have interviewed Pat Nevin ahead of his DJ set at the club tomorrow night.
He talks about hanging out with John Peel, asking to be taken off early during a football match to go and watch the Cocteau Twins and new bands to look out for in Tuff Love, Honeyblood and Ex Hex. You can read the interview in full on their site.

Our guest DJ is former Scotland, Everton and Chelsea footballer Pat Nevin! Pat has superb taste in music so expect to hear the likes of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Camera Obscura, The Fall, Belle and Sebastian and New Order.
We’ll be playing our mix of indiepop, post-punk, new wave and sixties music and doors open at 10pm through to 3am. It’ll be Pat’s fourth DJ set at the club and he’ll be DJing from midnight.

Our guest DJs are Niall McCamley and Anna Cory from The Spook School! We’re delighted to welcome them to the club for the first time and they’ll playing an anti-Valentine’s Day themed set from 11pm.
They’ve also compiled a Scared To Dance Heartbreak Mixtape CD which will be given out for free to the first 25 people through the door. On the CD you’ll find the likes of The Lovely Eggs, Alvvays, Help Stamp Out Loneliness, Zoey Van Goey and Los Campesinos!
