JOSIE LONG FILM NIGHT ON FRI 13TH MAY

We’re delighted to announce the first Scared To Dance film night on Friday 13th May at the arthouse Genesis Cinema.

The guest for our opening night is the comedian Josie Long. Josie has been one of our favourite guest DJs at the club over the years so we’re thrilled to have her introduce Mistaken For Strangers. These new film nights will be on every other month and there will be a Q&A with Josie after the screening.

Mistaken For Strangers is a 2013 documentary film about the American indie rock band The National. The film is directed by Tom Berninger, brother of lead singer Matt Berninger, who follows the band during the tour of the band’s album High Violet. It has been hailed as “a highly entertaining and surprisingly moving look at life lived on the fringes of the music industry” by Film 4.

Tickets are now on sale.
