We kick off with Average Sex’s single “We’re Done” out next week on Crocodile Records.

Wire are back with their fourteenth LP Silver/Lead and we preview it with the excellent “Diamonds in Cups”.

Girl Ray have put out the superb “Stupid Things” on Moshi Moshi Records and there’s also the beautiful “Mildenhall” by The Shins.

Los Campesinos! have released one of our favourite albums of the year and we lift “The Fall of Home” from that. Jens Lekman returns with “Evening Prayer” and there’s the fantastic “Black Ice” from Delay Trees.

Adwaith release “Pwysau” and there’s tracks from Sweet Baboo and Feist who have just announced a new LPs. Plus there’s the latest from Kid Wave, Rays and Spinning Coin.

DJING AT MARTHA AT THE SCALA

Fortuna POP! are calling it a day after 20 years.

The label was a huge influence on us starting Scared To Dance back in 2009 with seminal albums from Allo Darlin’ and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart wanting us to start an indiepop club night and do it yourself.

To celebrate they’re hosting a mini-festival called Twenty Years of Trouble with a bunch of bands who have been on the label. We will be DJing at their final show on Sunday 25th March at the Scala which Martha headline.

Our guest DJ is the radio and TV broadcaster Colin Murray! Colin has been to the club a couple of times and this will be his first DJ set for us. A winner of the Music Broadcaster of the Year at the Sony Radio Academy Awards he’s promised the likes of New Order, Flaming Lips, Hefner, The Magnetic Fields, Eels, The National and Pixies.
