I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be taking Scared To Dance to NYC Popfest next month! We’ll be on the first night of the Popfest at the Cake Shop on Thursday 19th May.

The club night will kick off after the bands and finish at 4am. If you have any requests please drop me an email, I’d love to hear them! There’s also a Facebook event with all of the bands timings on it.

You can buy your tickets for the Popfest now through the official website. Be quick before they sell out. See you on the dancefloor!

The Wave Pictures – “Little Surprise”

The Wave Pictures release their new LP Beer in the Breakers on Moshi Moshi on Monday 2nd May. “Little Surprise” is the lead single from the album and they’ve made a video for it too.

The band were on Marc Riley’s BBC 6 Music show this evening playing four tracks in session. You can listen back to it on iPlayer (skip to 18 minutes).

They’ll be hitting the road with dates across Ireland, Scotland and England from next week. There’s a complete list over on their Myspace page. Thursday 26th May is the date for your diary for their gig at the Scala in London.
