MINIMAL SCHLAGER GIG ON SAT 12TH AUG

Minimal Schlager headline the Scared To Dance and For The Rabbits monthly showcase gig night on Saturday 12th August.

Support comes from Scarlett Woolfe at The Victoria and you can get your free tickets on DICE.

Based between London and Berlin, Minimal Schlager are the brother-sister duo Francisco and Alicia, who originally hail from Argentina. Last year saw the pair team up with Berlin’s Duchess Box Records, for the release of their debut album Love, Sex & Dreams. Expect to be transported to the dark beauty of a David Lynch soundtrack, as Minimal Schlager adorn their knowingly retro synth-heavy sound with layered dreamy vocals.

Existing at the sweet spot between desire and the dancefloor, the band take influence from everything from Italo disco, to new wave pop and the darker recesses of the dive clubs of their adopted home city, and bring them together into something that’s not to be missed.

Although yet to release any recorded music into the world, Scarlett Woolfe arrives with the promise to channel the unknown and secret worlds of hidden women harbouring dark truths. Expect folklore and myth fed through the sonic language of dark, thrilling prog-rock.
